Jervis Rise, Baldivis
Baldivis is located 46 kilometres south of the Perth CBD, and 11 kilometres southeast of it’s local government, the City of Rockingham.
Baldivis continues to play a substantial part in the growth of the City of Rockingham’s population and its own population could more than double over the next 16 years.
From being a sparsely populated rural area at the turn of the millennium, the freeway-bordering suburb is now thriving and home to more than 34,500 people.
This high level of growth is expected to continue over the next 20 years, with City projections indicating the suburb will be home to around 70,000 people by 2036.
Rapid growth in recent years has seen Baldivis become one of the most sought after property locations south of the river. The town centre has evolved along with the suburbs accelerated growth and features the Stockland Baldivis Shopping Centre, which received a $116 million expansion in 2015, medical facilities, cafes and a gym. Other features of the area to note are the Baldivis Nature Reserve, Baldivis Recreational Centre and water park. This, along with several local schools has resulted in a bustling hub with all the services that constitute a desirable location.
